You are best placed to get this information from your conveyancing lawyer. They should have a central record lender panel numbers including the Accord Mortgages panel reference.

You should not exchange unless you have advised to do so by your lawyer. A precondition to being on the Accord Mortgages approved panel is to comply with the CML Handbook requirements (last updated for this lender on Accord Mortgages). The CML Conveyancing Handbook requires that your lawyer have the appropriate Disclosure of Incentive form completed by the developer and accepted by your lender.
Do all the firms listed on your directory have online case tracking as I understood that this was a condition of being on the Accord Mortgages solicitor panel?
The Council of Mortgage Lenders or BSA do not require online case tracking. Some law firms operate such technology and some don't.
I am trying to get my ex-wife removed the mortgage deeds. Can Accord Mortgages really insist on which solicitor I can or can not instruct?
You can use any solicitor you like but Accord Mortgages then has the right to appoint a different solicitor to act for them at your expense. It might be more cost effective and quicker to instruct a lawyer who is on the Accord Mortgages solicitors panel
I have not been happy with the level or service received from my lawyer. Is there a Accord Mortgages conveyancing panel complaints department or do I complain directly to the law firm?
Complaining to Accord Mortgages about their conveyancing panel is unlikely to yield much of a response. All solicitors and conveyancer must have a complaints procedure. You can get information from the solicitor’s or conveyancer’s website or ask at their office. They must tell you about it if you ask.

The Legal Ombudsman will make sure that your complaint is addressed by the solicitor. It can also advise you how to complain.

If a licensed conveyancer does not have a complaints procedure or will not tell you about it, contact the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC), which will make sure that your complaint is properly dealt with by the conveyancer. Please see below for more information.

A lender would not issue a mortgage until they have details of a lawyer on their panel. It can take a few weeks for Accord Mortgages to deal with your lawyers application to be on the Accord Mortgages conveyancing panel. There's no guarantee that your solicitors will be accepted.
Accord Mortgages have agreed my mortgage in principle, my offer on house has been accepted, now what?
The estate agent will want to know who your solicitors are (make sure these solicitors are on the lenders panel). Call up Accord Mortgages or your broker and complete any relevant paperwork. Accord Mortgages will tell you what documents they want. Accord Mortgages will instruct a valuer. The valuer will get in touch with the estate agent or seller to book an appointment. Once conducted (assuming no problems) it takes about week to get a mortgage offer. Accord Mortgages will issue the offer to you and your lawyer. The transaction will then take it’s course according the nature and complexity of the conveyancing.
